More than
a headshot.

A full library, not a single shot

A headshot session gives you one or two strong portraits. A personal branding session gives you a full library of images across different settings, outfits, and scenarios. Everything your content programme needs, built in a single shoot.

25 to 50+ images. Not one. Months of fresh, varied content from a single session. No recycling the same three shots.
Multiple settings and scenarios. Portrait shots, in-context working images, environmental shots, social content crops. All planned in advance.
Planned before the session, not worked out on the day. A proper planning call maps out where you actually use images and builds the shoot around those needs.
Your headshots are included. Strong portrait images for LinkedIn, your bio, and speaking engagements come as part of the package.
I come to you. Full professional lighting travels with me to every location. No studio visits, no extra logistics.

Most personal branding clients have one thing in common.

Their face is their business. The images on their website and LinkedIn are doing a lot of persuading before a single conversation has taken place.

Founders and business owners

Launching or growing a business where you're the brand. You need a consistent visual presence across your website, LinkedIn, and sales materials. Something that looks deliberate rather than cobbled together from old phone photos.

Consultants and coaches

Building a reputation through visibility. Your potential clients are researching you before they've spoken to you. The images on your website and LinkedIn are doing the persuading, and a single headshot isn't enough to show who you actually are.

Executives going independent

Moving from employment to portfolio career, NED work, or advisory roles. You need photography that reflects seniority and credibility without looking corporate in the wrong way. The shift from employee to principal shows in the images. If your team also needs updating, corporate headshots can run alongside.

Professionals building a content programme

You're posting regularly and you've run out of images. A planned branding session gives you six to twelve months of varied, fresh content so you're not recycling the same three shots every other week.

A personal brand image library that works across every channel.

A planned session produces a range of images for every context where your name appears. Here is what a typical library includes. We will map out exactly what you need during our planning call.

01

Portrait images

Strong, clean portraits for your LinkedIn profile, website About page, speaking bio, press enquiries, and email signature. These are the images that represent you when you're not in the room to do it yourself.

02

In-context shots

Images of you working, thinking, or in conversation. These suit LinkedIn posts, service pages, and pitch decks because they show expertise in action rather than just a face against a background.

03

Environmental and lifestyle shots

Images in spaces that reflect what you do: your workspace, a co-working environment, somewhere outdoors. These give your content visual variety and make your brand feel human rather than corporate.

04

Social content images

Horizontal, vertical, and square crops. Detail shots. Images designed to work on Instagram, LinkedIn carousels, newsletters, and anywhere else you publish regularly. If you want to know how far a library can stretch, my post on where your personal branding photos should be working gives a full picture.

How a personal branding
session comes together

The planning is what makes the difference between a good-looking session and one that actually fills your content calendar. Here is how it works, from first conversation to finished images.

01

We plan together

I'll ask about your business, your audience, and where you use images. We'll map out the locations, outfits, and specific shots your content programme needs. Most clients find this call is where the session takes shape. It's not a formality.

02

I come to you

I set up on location wherever suits your brand: your office, a co-working space, or outdoors. Full professional lighting travels with me. You don't need to find a studio or travel anywhere. I guide you through every shot so you always know what to do.

03

Your library, ready to use

Every image is professionally retouched and delivered in multiple formats: high resolution for print, web-ready, and cropped for each platform. Full usage rights, no restrictions. You'll have months of fresh, varied content from a single session.

Common questions about personal branding photography

What is included in the price?

Everything: planning consultation, on-location session with full studio setup, expression coaching, professional retouching, and your images delivered in multiple formats. The price I quote is the price you pay.

How is a personal branding session different from a headshot session?

A headshot session gives you one or two strong professional portraits. A personal branding session gives you a full library of images across different settings, outfits, and scenarios. You'll have months of content for your website, LinkedIn, social media, and marketing. Your headshots are included as part of the package.

What if I am not comfortable in front of a camera?

Almost everyone says that. The coaching side of the session is designed to get past that feeling early on. I talk you through everything, and most people are visibly more relaxed within the first ten minutes. My guide for camera-shy professionals explains exactly how I will work with you.

What kinds of images does a personal branding session produce?

Most sessions produce strong portrait images for your profile and bio, in-context shots showing you working or thinking, environmental shots in a space that reflects what you do, lifestyle images that show personality, and detail shots for visual variety. During our planning call we'll map out exactly what you need and build the shoot around that. My post on where your personal branding photos should be working gives a full picture of how far the images can stretch.

Where does the session take place?

Everything happens on location. During our planning call we'll pick the settings that work for your brand, and I'll bring professional lighting to each one. No need to visit a studio.

How long does a branding session take?

The Professional Story package runs for 3 hours across two locations. The Complete Visual Identity package is a full day (6+ hours) across three locations. Both include time for outfit changes, different setups, and reviewing images as we go.

Which locations in the South West do you cover?

I'm based in Exeter and photograph regularly across Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorset, and Gloucestershire. I also work in London and travel to other UK cities. See the full list of areas I cover.
