Process
How your session works
Everything comes to you. I arrive with professional lighting, backdrops, and all the equipment needed to turn a meeting room or quiet corner into a proper studio. I only take one session a day. When you're in front of my camera, you're my only priority.
I set up at your location
I arrive 20–30 minutes early to set up the studio. All I need is a reasonably quiet room and a power socket. A meeting room, spare office, or even a corridor works well.
Expression coaching before we start
Before any shooting, I walk you through a few simple techniques that make an immediate difference. Most people find the nerves gone before we've taken a single frame.
We shoot at your pace
Most sessions run 60–90 minutes. There's no clock watching. I'll direct your expression and posture between shots so you don't need to think about your angles. Change outfits as many times as you like.
You choose your favourites on the day
Before I pack up, we review everything together on a large screen. You pick the images you want retouched. No guessing, no disappointment. You know exactly what's coming.
Finished images within two working days
Your retouched images land in your inbox, ready to use on LinkedIn, your website, and anywhere else you need them.
Common questions
Where do you shoot?
I come to you. I set up a full studio at your office, coworking space, or home office. I'm based in Exeter and work regularly across Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Cornwall, and London. Available UK-wide by arrangement.
How many images do most people choose?
Most clients pick 3 to 5 finished images. Some only need one strong headshot for LinkedIn. Others want a set for their website, social profiles, and speaker bios. There's no minimum and no pressure to buy more than you need.
What if I'm camera-shy?
Most of my clients feel exactly the same way before we start. The expression coaching makes a real difference. Have a look through my Google reviews from people who came in nervous and left surprised by how much they enjoyed it.
What should I wear?
You'll get my full preparation guide when you book. The short version: bring a couple of options that make you feel confident. Avoid very busy patterns or all-white. I'll help you choose on the day.
Do I pay upfront or after?
After the session. There's no deposit. You choose your favourite images on the day, then I send the invoice once your retouched images land in your inbox.
What if I don't love the final images?
In over ten years it hasn't happened, but if you genuinely aren't happy I'll re-shoot at no charge. The same-day review is there so you never leave the session guessing what you're getting.
Can you invoice my company?
Yes. I'm VAT-registered and can issue a company invoice payable by BACS. VAT number GB438714770.
Cancellation and rescheduling?
Free reschedule with more than 48 hours' notice, just let me know and we'll find another date. Inside 48 hours I'll do my best to move it, but the slot may not be recoverable.
