The simple version

We only collect information we need to run our headshot photography service, respond to enquiries, and deliver your images. We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers for things like payments, email, and privacy-friendly website analytics. This page explains everything in plain English.

Payment details: If you pay by card, your card details go directly to our payment provider. We do not store your full card number.

When you visit our website, we collect limited technical information so the site works properly and so we can understand which pages are useful. This can include:

  • Approximate location (city/region level), not your exact address

  • Stripe and Square – process card payments securely. We receive confirmation of payment, but we do not store your full card details.

Client management

  • Light Blue – stores client booking details and job information so we can run sessions smoothly and keep records.

Website hosting and delivery

  • Website hosting – our site is served via a hosting/CDN provider. Your browser will share normal technical data (like IP address and device info) so the site can load.

Analytics

  • Plausible Analytics – we use Plausible for privacy-friendly website analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not track you across the web.

Cookies and analytics

We aim to keep tracking to a minimum. We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information. It gives us aggregated statistics (for example, which pages are viewed and general location at city/country level) so we can improve the site.

Because Plausible is cookie-free, we do not display a cookie banner on this site. If you would like to exclude your visits from our analytics beyond your browser settings, please email peter@proheadshots.uk.

Legal basis for processing
