Meet Davey Jones
A current set of actor headshots for Davey Jones, built for agencies and submissions.
Davey Jones is an actor with a growing list of screen credits across both television and film. He’s worked on big productions, smaller dramas, and everything in between, which gives him that useful thing casting teams look for: range that still feels believable.
It had been a few years since his last set of headshots, and he didn’t want to drift along with an out-of-date profile. Davey knows how much a strong image set matters when you’re being put forward, so he was ready to treat this as part of his job.
About this session
The brief was simple: create a current, agency-ready set that reflects who Davey is now, with enough variety for different submissions without turning into a costume parade. Clean styling, calm expressions, and images that let casting focus on him.
A refresh for a working actor
When you’re acting regularly, your headshot needs to do two things at once. It needs to look like you, and it needs to feel like you. That sounds obvious, but it’s exactly where older images start to fall behind.
Davey wanted a set that matches his current look and the kind of work he’s going for now. Not a dramatic reinvention, just a clear, confident update that helps agents submit him without caveats.
What we built for Davey
Davey came in with a clear sense of what he needed: a lead image that feels direct and present, plus a few variations that open up different reads without losing consistency. That’s the sweet spot for agency submissions.
We kept the styling straightforward and the background clean, then worked through small shifts in energy. A more open, friendly feel for lighter briefs. A more contained option for drama. And a couple that sit neatly between the two, because real casting isn’t always one extreme or the other.
Range that still feels like him
Davey’s strength is that he can move between different tones without forcing it. On camera, those changes are usually subtle: a softer focus, a firmer gaze, a quieter mouth, a slightly different posture.
That’s what we worked with. Rather than pushing for big “acting” moments, we kept it grounded and truthful. The result is a set that shows breadth, while still reading as one person, which is exactly what you want when a casting team is flicking through submissions quickly.
A quick note on credits
Davey has quietly built a solid run of screen work across film and television. His credits include The Crown, Beyond Paradise, Casualty and The White Princess, alongside features such as Dunkirk, Darkest Hour, Overlord and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
He’s also appeared in The Tale of Thomas Burberry, and has more recent work including The Roses. If you’re looking him up, his full credit list is on IMDb.
Images that back up the career
Headshots are part of how an actor shows they’re taking the work seriously. Davey’s approach was practical: get a set that looks current, reads clearly, and supports the next run of submissions.
So we created a small, purposeful set. One strong lead image, then a handful of options with different energy, so his agent can match the right photo to the right brief without second-guessing it.
Where he goes next
Davey left with a set of headshots that feel current and consistent, ready for agencies and profile use. They show him as he is now, and they make it easier to put him forward with confidence.
That’s the point of a refresh like this. Not just new photos, but a clear signal that you’re showing up properly for the work you want next.
